How much does it cost to join as a professional?

Creating your profile and appearing on YOTU is 100% free. You only pay when you decide to unlock a client's contact details in order to send them your proposal. The price of each contact is shown before you accept, and usually ranges between €5 and €70 depending on the size and complexity of the project.

What documents do I need to register?

You need: an identity document (if you are self-employed) or a company tax number (if you are a company), a valid public liability insurance certificate, and a sample of 3 previous jobs with photos. Our team reviews every application manually within 24-48 hours before approving the profile.

How does pay-per-contact work?

You top up your balance inside YOTU (minimum €25, with bonuses from €50 upwards). When a project interests you, you unlock the contact by paying the listed price. The client receives your proposal and you can talk directly in the chat.

Is there a commission on the work carried out?

Accepted Answer

No. YOTU does not charge any commission on the value of the project. The price you agree with the client is 100% yours. Our only revenue comes from the contacts you unlock — no surprises, no variable invoicing.

Question 5

Can I choose only the projects that interest me?

Accepted Answer

Yes, completely. You configure your service categories and geographic radius, and you only see jobs that match. For each project you can read the full description before deciding whether to pay for the contact. The rest simply stay out, at no cost at all.

Question 6

What if the client does not reply after I unlock?

Accepted Answer

If a client does not reply within 72 hours of your proposal, open a ticket with our support team and we refund the contact to your balance. The same applies if you discover the job was a duplicate or contained false information.

Question 7

How do I build my reputation on the platform?

Accepted Answer

After every completed project, the client leaves a public rating (1-5 stars) with a comment and optionally photos of the result. These reviews appear on your profile and are visible to other potential clients. The more positive reviews, the more visibility in the feed.

Can I work as a sole trader and as a company at the same time?

Accepted Answer

One user can have either a sole trader profile (ProfessionalIndividual) or a company profile (ProfessionalCompany), but not both at once under the same email. If you run both legal forms, we recommend using two accounts with different email addresses.

Do you get projects in my town or only in big cities?

We operate all over Spain. Job density is higher in provincial capitals and metropolitan areas, but we also receive renovation requests in mid-sized and rural municipalities. Set your service radius carefully and configure alerts so you don't miss opportunities.
